I’m Lata Kapoor, a chef and fashion designer with over 20 years of experience in the culinary world. Trained professionally at the Ashoka Institute of Hospitality and Tourism Management (HSR) and IBCA for baking, I’ve developed a passion for experimenting with flavors and creating unique dishes.
Throughout my career, I’ve worked with well-known brands like Spicify, Pansari, Fab, Bakersville, Amul, Catch Masala, Nestle, and many others. My live cooking sessions have been featured on popular Facebook pages such as Amul, Bakersville, and Nestle. In 2023, I cleared three audition rounds in MasterChef India, an experience that challenged and inspired me.
My journey also includes competing in and judging various prestigious cooking contests, including the International Hospitality Expo, Catch Masala, and Vegan Cooking competitions. As the Delhi coordinator for the Kitchen Star of India contest, I played a key role in one of the country’s largest culinary events.
Sharing knowledge is something I truly enjoy—whether through workshops on chocolate and baking or community initiatives with NGOs. Over the years, I’ve earned recognition such as the IHE Silver Medal and awards for Best Chef and Best Homechef. One special highlight is holding a Limca Book of Records entry for baking the most cookies using millet.
For me, cooking is more than a profession; it’s a creative journey that connects people, tells stories, and constantly offers new opportunities to learn and grow.
