Mr. Ajesh Gugnani

Chairman
With 25+ years in hospitality education, Mr. Gugnani launched FIHM in 2020. As Founder of MIOEC and Matrix Infosys, he’s expanded hospitality education across India, committed to developing industry-ready professionals through comprehensive training and global opportunities.

Ms. Aakriti Bansal Gugnani

Vice Chairman
An IMT Ghaziabad Alumnus, Aakriti brings her business and marketing expertise to FIHM as Vice Chairman. With experience at companies like Noise and L’Oreal, and recognized as a LinkedIn Top Voice, she leads FIHM with a strong vision of shaping more than 10,000 hospitality professionals in the next 5 years.

Mr. Prosenjit Chandra

Director- Academics
With 17 years in hospitality and education, he is an BHMCT, MTM and MBA. He specializes in operations, academics, and L&D. A former professor and department head at IAM Hotel School, Kolkata, and IHM-RIG, Greater Noida, he’s also worked with the Taj Group and is an AHLEI-certified instructor. He is also a lifetime member of ICF- Indian Culinary Forum.

Ms. Pooja Upreti

Placement Head
Placement head and Assistant Professor of Rooms Division Pooja has 6+ years of academic experience, mentoring students and delivering high-quality education. She is done MHM and MBA. She has strong relations with leading hotels like The Leela, The Oberoi, ITC Maurya, Roseate House, Novotel, The Lalit, Radisson Blu and many more.
